COOK UP SOME TASTY RECIPES!

 

ROADSIDE CHICKEN WINGS:

Ingredients 

Chicken wings (2-3 lbs)

Marinade 

• 1 cup white vinegar 

• 1/2 cup veg oil

• 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce

• 1 Tbl sea or kosher salt 

• 1 Tbl white sugar 

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp onion powder 

• 1 tsp white or fresh ground pepper

• 1/2 tsp celery salt.

Basting Spray 

• 8 oz apple juice

• 4 oz cider vinegar 

Favorite bbq or cajun rub & bbq sauce.

Directions 

• Combine & mix all marinade ingredients into a bowl.

• Mix basting spray and pour into a spray bottle 

• Put chicken wings into a gallon ziploc and pour in the marinade. 

• Marinade overnight

• Remove from refrigerator about 1 prior to cooking & put wings on a raised rack to rest, completely dry off liquid to promote a crispy skin.

• Coat your wings with your favorite bbq or cajun rub.

• Insert wings on to your rotisserie spits & cook over a hot wood or lump fire.

• Spray the chicken occasionally to help maintain moisture. 

• Cook approximately 20-30 minutes until your internal temp reaches 165°

• Brush on your bbq sauce and cook just a couple minutes, just long enough to have the sauce set and not burn 

• Remove from rotisserie and enjoy.
